Welcome to Villa Tukad, a unique villa in a stunning location by a river in an un-spoilt Balinese village. The villa is totally secluded with veranda looks out over well-tended gardens bounded by two rivers in a deep valley skirted by tall exotic tree. This 3 bedrooms villa located at Pererenan Area which about 45 minutes from International Airport of Ngurah Rai in Denpasar.

Unlike many holiday villas, this is an individually designed house with considerable character. The accommodation is spacious with two bedrooms and bathrooms in the main house and one bedroom with en suite bathroom in a separate guest suite. The villa is decorated with Balinese artifacts, local fabrics and antique teak furniture. The veranda provides a wonderful indoor/outdoor space for dining, relaxing on day beds and looking out over the spacious tropical gardens which extend to river frontage and include three bales (pavilions with cushions and sofas) and a number of spectacular water features, traditional stone carvings and shrines and a cool 1.5 meter deep infinity pool (10 X 4 meters) set among palm trees, teak, giant ferns, orchids and bougainvillea.

Surroundings :
Villa Tukad is close to local beaches and a short drive from the popular entertainment, eating and shopping area of Seminyak. But the villa is totally secluded, and the veranda looks out over well-tended gardens bounded by a river in a deep valley skirted by tall, exotic trees. The village has only basic shopping, but the staff can do all your food shopping at nearby bakeries, local markets and western supermarkets. Some of the finest restaurants in Asia are within 25min by car. The nearest beach has cafe and bar open all day, seafood barbecue every night and live music at weekends. The three temples in the village have traditional music and ceremonies. Echo Beach is a major surfing beach. Bicycles are available for riding to the beach or into the rice terraces and villages. The islands main golf, spa resort and sports club is 15 min. Ubud, the major cultural centre is 45 min by car.

Gardens and Staff :
The gardens deserve special mention as they contain three pavilions each large enough to contain three or four adults. They are positioned by a large koi fish pond, by the main river, and by a stream that runs through the garden. These are perfect places to relax, read, snooze or have a Balinese massage. There are four recliners around the swimming pool, and a day bed on the veranda. Note that there are five staff based at the villa and they will move furniture, go shopping, bring you drinks and cook for you. The cook comes highly recommended and her specialities include local and western dishes.

Sleeping :
The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin and 2 cots, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

General :
The villa has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your partys use.

Entertainment :
The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds. A computer with Internet connection is also available for your use. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls and a fax machine.

Eating & Living :
There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware
